The world's only solar-powered Ferris wheel gives visitors a panoramic view of the Southern California coastline from more than 130 feet above the Santa Monica Pier. Measuring 85 feet, the wheel moves at 2.5 revolutions per minute with intermittent stops to pick up passengers. Fun ride! The views of the ocean and beach are beautiful from up top! The pacific wheel also has enough rotations so it doesn’t feel like some other ferris wheels which end too quickly or take too long! 🎡

This is a must if you are visiting the Santa Monica Pier 🍀 The photos speak by themselves. Spoil yourself! 🥳🎊🎉 Drinks or food are not allowed in the gondolas or any rides. The signs are not obvious and I missed them. 🤷 The attendants are all under 20 or so, and two of them (Briana and Melany) felt entitled to reprimand me because I was carrying a coffee. When I wanted to put it on top of the trash top, Melany said that I couldn't. When I asked if she could hold it for me, she said, "No." Then she went to tell her senior Briana that I challenged her, and Briana came to tell me that I should have gone to her. So Melany complained to Briana. Melany didn't show any empathy nor Briana. I had to throw my coffee in the trash can. Apparently there is a notice about food/drinks not being allowed on the ride, which I didn't have a problem with. I have a problem with the way they threated me. Both felt entitled to reprimand me. I am a senior and these two were dissing on me. The moral of the story is "Follow the rules to avoid the Chihuahuas in your ankle! 😂😂😂 The owners should set up a place where people can put their drinks or food, instead of telling the clients to trash them. amazing experience.Although we went on a weekend it was not too much crowded. Waiting time was not too long. The ride itself was fun and more longer than i expected it to be.

A fun wheel with a great view. Get there early and be the first one on. I saw in some reviews that lines can get long, but that was not the case for my visit; there was hardly a line at all.
